UNIDO / GEF Global Innovation Program

Startups should receive more support – both from the State and international organizations of the world level. Ukraine seeks to take a worthy place among the most developed economies in the world. At the same time, the priorities of our State are the sustainable development of the innovation sphere, the development of small and medium-sized businesses, ensuring energy security and increasing the competitiveness of products in world markets.

As part of the work on this direction, Volodymyr Stavniuk, Head of the Board, spoke at the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the UNIDO / GEF Project “Global Innovation Clean Technology for Startups and SMEs in Ukraine” – an event that can be a forerunner not only for the advanced approach to solving environmental problems, but successful development of the national economy of Ukraine. Thanks to SFII and UNIDO, over the next few years, Ukraine will be able to implement a green startup project and make our economy stronger and more energy independent. During the meeting, which was attended by UNIDO leaders, in particular, Igor Kyrylchuk and Carlos Chanduvi-Suarez.

It is pleasant to realize that Ukraine, thanks to the persistent work of international and state institutions, and due to the desire for change, will have the opportunity to become even more innovative, more prosperous and more efficient.

Time to build highly developed  Ukraine!
